The Restaurant
The refurbishment of the Dalmore crumbling shell into a spacious, sumptuous Inn and Restaurant, has created choice and comfort for you, the customer.
In the sun lounge, you can eat whilst enjoying the best of the outside day, with the warmth and splendour of the bright, airy and roomy main seated area.
At the other end of the Dalmore, you will find a more intimate space, with cosy booths to keep your conversation a touch private and tables, where an informal meeting is appropriate.
Before you choose your preference, sink into the luxurious chairs and sofas in the reception area, where you can enjoy a pre-meal drink, while your food is prepared.
But of course there is always time for a refreshing pint after a country walk, or coffee with the ladies, while the next shopping plans are being laid.
The refurbishment was completed by Scotland's experts in this field, Dunn Interiors, from Glasgow, with soft colours predominant, to blend in with the surrounding greenery.
Parking is plentiful and right at the front door immediately you leave the main road, leaving travel to our front door, carefree and convenient.
And wherever you go, our pet highland cow Angus in the restaurant mural, seems to be following you, just to make sure that your every need is being taken care of.
All through the preparation of the new building, blending in with our surroundings and your comfort and ease, were our over riding aims.
Our hope was that we got it right, has been confirmed by an excellent initial trading period, providing us with the platform, to tempt you back, all over again, in 2011.
Dalmore Inn and Restaurant
The Food
The Scottish palate has developed dramatically, over the last two decades and at Dalmore we are reflecting the new, more educated tastes of our great country in 2011.
But not without retaining the best of the traditional Scots' fare that blend magnificently with the new flavours, to create cuisine for today and tomorrow.
Award winning Chefs, David Cochrane and Iain Naysmith will tempt your taste buds with some of the finest foods from the sea, where choice now is unrecognisable, from that enjoyed previously.
Succulent scallops, the largest langoustines, mussels, crab, lobster and clams, all feature from time to time, in their catch of the day, from the breakfast markets.
Sea Bream, halibut, red snapper, sea bass, haddock, cod and now hake and red mullet, with so much more, are on Chef's morning shopping list, if the quality is right on the day, to offer you, the very best.
But of course, a day at Dalmore would never be the same without delicious, traditional fish and chips - filling, moist and with real chips to complete the experience.
Our menu and specials board reflect the superb meat that is on our doorstep in Perthshire, with steaks, pork, lamb and chicken a feature of Dalmore's finest.
All embellished from time to time, with the much loved Scottish favourites like haggis and black pudding, bridging the gap tastefully, between then and now.
Game too plays a special part in our offering but do not expect all that, every single day, only when the standard passes Chef's rigourous assessment and the price is right for you.
Choice of course is always at the heart of our thinking and as well as our popular Light Lunch menu, you can now enjoy the Steak Supper experience, Monday to Thursday.
Everything is created, concocted and cooked in our new, high tech kitchens by David, Iain and the team, not forgetting stunning desserts, that will take your breath away.
Red, white and rose wines from all round the world, compliment your selection of food, along with sparkling wine and champagne, should you be in a celebratory mood.
Come and put our efforts to the test, we know that you won't be disappointed, exactly what you need, are what we do best.
